Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan engaged in a series of phone calls with key counterparts from the United Kingdom, Qatar, and Kuwait to address pressing regional issues and enhance security measures. These discussions underscored the ongoing commitment to fostering stability and cooperation in the Middle East.
In his conversation with Ed Miliband, the newly appointed Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, Prince Faisal extended his congratulations on Miliband’s new role and expressed optimism for strengthening bilateral ties. The dialogue focused on reinforcing collaborative efforts between Saudi Arabia and the UK to bolster both regional and international security.
Prince Faisal also held talks with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, as well as Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. During these discussions, the ministers highlighted the importance of sustained coordination aimed at maintaining stability across the region.
The conversations with the Qatari and Kuwaiti ministers also included a unified condemnation of the recent attacks by Iran and Iran-backed militias, which have targeted Saudi Arabia and other nearby countries. This condemnation reflects a shared concern and a commitment to counteract such destabilizing actions in the region.
