Automate Your Deck: Google’s Gemini AI Now Builds Slides

by admin477351

Google has just deployed a major update to its AI tools, allowing Gemini to automate the entire process of initial slide creation. A new feature in Gemini Canvas can take any text file and build a complete, professional Google Slides presentation in seconds.

This powerful tool is designed to save you from hours of manual formatting. The AI reads your document, understands its key sections, and then builds a structured deck with a clean theme, appropriate titles, and even relevant visuals.

This marks a significant step in Google’s plan to make AI an indispensable productivity partner. Gemini is evolving from a writing assistant into a tool that can understand and reformat your ideas into different, presentation-ready formats.

Once the AI has generated the draft, you retain full control. The presentation can be exported directly to Google Slides, where you can make any necessary adjustments, add your own insights, or collaborate with your team.

The feature is rolling out globally as we speak. It is available to both personal Google accounts and Workspace users, with Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers reportedly getting the first access. A wider release is expected soon.
