by admin477351

Saudi Arabia has achieved the fifth position worldwide and the top rank in the Arab world for growth in the artificial intelligence sector, reflecting the country’s rapid technological progress under Vision 2030. The ranking highlights the Kingdom’s strong push to diversify its economy and become a global innovation hub by the end of the decade.

National initiatives led by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority have played a major role in this rise, including programs supporting startups, ethical AI practices, and digital authentication services. The authority has also introduced incentive frameworks for responsible AI development and granted over 50 accreditations to local companies creating AI-powered solutions for key sectors.

The Kingdom is also investing heavily in talent development. Through SDAIA Academy, more than one million Saudis have received training in data and AI skills, making it one of the world’s largest public AI training programs. These efforts aim to build a workforce capable of supporting large-scale technological transformation.

Saudi Arabia’s AI strategy is supported by major private-sector partnerships, including multibillion-dollar investments to establish advanced data centers. Such collaborations are expected to accelerate startup growth, strengthen digital infrastructure, and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a rising global leader in artificial intelligence.
